Things To Remember
Thought for the Day "Most significant people are not famous, and
most famous people are not significant."

"THINGS TO REMEMBER"
THE BIG THREE
- Transition Defense (spint back, don't jog)
- Rebounding (both ends)
- Take care of the ball (don't turn it over)
THE BIG SIX
- Intensity - Comes from your defense
- Teamwork - Pulling for your team
- Shot Selection - Unselfish Common Sense
- Turnovers - Poor Judgment
- Rebounding - Is position and courage
- Transition - Two type Defensive and Offensive
GAME TIME
- If your opponent scores three baskets in a row and you don't score call a time out.
- Have a last second shot play against a man to man and zone defense.
- Don't take a player out that has just made a mistake. Give him time to redeem himself.
- Teach your players who have just entered the game to not shoot the ball the first time they touch it.
- Have an assistant coach keep a scorebook on the bench so you will know what is going on.
- Halftime, make adjustments.
